About me
I’m Natasha, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges. I am registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as a Certified Canadian Counsellor. I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Sociology, as well as a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. These fields have given me a deep understanding of how our mental health is shaped not only by our internal experiences but also by our external environment.
From a young age, I’ve been motivated by the desire to help others. Whether through my academic pursuits or my professional career, the notion of "helping" has always driven me. Sociology allowed me to explore how social background, culture, and values influence individuals, while my work in counselling psychology focuses on supporting people emotionally and mentally.
With over a decade of experience in mental health and leadership, I’ve supported people through anxiety, depression, stress, major life changes, and relationship challenges.
I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health, so I use a variety of techniques—like CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing—to tailor my support to your unique needs.
Life can be tough, but you don’t have to face it alone. Let’s work together to help you thrive and find balance in your world.

Education
Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology – Yorkville University
This degree has equipped me with the clinical expertise and therapeutic skills to support individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues.
Master of Science in Sociology – University of Amsterdam
Focus: Gender, Sexuality, and Society
During my studies, I explored the social construction of gender and sexuality, learning that much of what we understand is based on generational and historical beliefs.
The Netherlands’ progressive approach to gender and individuality significantly shaped my perspective, allowing me to understand how societal constructs can limit us.
My academic experience emphasized breaking down these barriers, helping individuals embrace their true selves, free from societal limitations.
